ART WORK
The small works below are part of a series of stitched work entitled ‘Contained’. I have used a selection of fabrics which I have indigo dyed. I have then layered and stitched the fabrics to create a range of work. Small fragments of Japanese kimono silk add a colour highlight. Vintage buttons and hand stitching also add detail.
They measure roughly 12cm square and mounted onto 16.5cm board. Those which are framed are in 19cm white box frames and supplied ready for hanging. Unframed £35, Framed £40.

CHRISTMAS CRACKER KIT
Make your own fabric Christmas crackers. They pull apart so that they can be used many times. Ideal as a wrapping for small gifts.
Pattern only - £7 including postage
Kit £18 - includes half a metre of Style-Vil, half a metre of S80, pattern and postage. This is sufficient for six crackers.
If you order the kit you will get a free supplement to the pattern giving you the measurements to make a large cracker for a table centrepiece.

FABRICS
WOVEN COTTON INTERLINING
£7.50 per metre (150cm wide)
This is my favourite interlining for bags or as a support for creative embroidery. It is a sew-in interlining and gives structure to bags without being too stiff.
I use this interlining as a support fabric when doing free motion embroidery if I don’t want my work to distort too much, but still have flexibility.
WATER SOLUBLE FABRIC
£4.40 per metre (90cm wide)
Vlieseline Soluvlies – perfect for all projects which need a water soluble backing. I used it for the mohair dresses I made. You can lightly spray it with 505 spray so that fibres can be secured for stitching.

Muslin - £2.50 per metre (90cm wide) – I often use this underneath wadding if I am making quilted bags or cushions
Scrim - ideal for dyeing and adding texture to mixed media work - £3.50 per metre
